Welcome to Dim29.com. I created this website a few years ago because we were thinking about moving from Lancaster, PA to Central Florida and I wanted to give all of our family and friends back in PA a place where they could see photos and find out what we were up to in Florida.

In October of 2007, we finally made that move and we now live in Melbourne, Florida. Since we moved here, I have been busy getting settled and looking for a job and I have not been able to keep the site up to date.

I want to apologize to all of you who have been checking for updates and have not found anything posted since our move. I am now starting the task of getting all of the photos of everything that we have been up to since the move added to the site. There is a lot to add and I will be getting it done slowly, but surely. Please keep checking back for updates.

The family news and photos page is where you will find links to pictures and updates on what we have been up too since the move. Also, please check out the rest of the links above, and check out the items below to find out more about me and my family. A list of the most recent additions and updates to the site can be found to the right. If you have any questions or comments, please be sure to email me and let me know.

July 13 - Added a new ballpark to the Ballpark Visits page. We saw a Dodgers spring training game in March at Holman Stadium in Vero Beach, Florida.

July 12 - Added 2 new items to the family news & photos page with pictures from last Christmas.

July 11 - Added 2 new items to the family news & photos page with pictures from last Halloween and Thanksgiving.

June 29 - Added 7 new characters to Ryan's Disney Character Autograph book.

Walt Disney World

One thing our family enjoys is visiting Walt Disney World in Florida. We visited with our son, Ryan, ten times while we lived in PA. Heather and I also visited Disney World together back in May of 1997 and my parents took my sister and I on a family trip back in June of 1977.

One of the reasons that we wanted to move to central Florida was so that we could be closer to Disney World. You can read about our Disney trips and check out lots of park and resort pictures on the Disney Trips page. You can also check out all of the different characters and holiday storytellers that my son has met on Ryan's Disney Character Autograph Book page. He has now met 222 different characters including Star Wars characters, special park characters, classic characters, characters from many Disney movies and holiday storytellers and we are always looking to add new ones now that we can run over to Disney whenever we want to.

Ballpark Visits

Another thing that Heather and I enjoy is attending baseball games. In 1993 we decided to try and visit every Major League Baseball stadium. Soon after that we started going to minor league games as well and then we decided to try and visit as many major and minor league ballparks as we could.

We have seen games in 62 different stadiums so far. We have been to 27 different major league parks and 34 different minor league ballparks. We have also seen a Major League game played at the ballpark at Disney's Wide World of Sports. We try to add a few new ones each year and now that we are in Florida we have lots of new stadiums to check out. We will also get the chance to see some spring training games for the first time. On the ballpark visits page you can check out all of the different stadiums we have seen so far and see pictures of the stadiums and copies of our tickets from every game.
